This workshop honors heroes who bear the personal weight of being essential support to others during their own challenges and crises. It provides practical strategies participants can use after the workshop to manage the chaos and stress, find balance, and heal in this line of work.

Using the ‘superhero’ archetype, attendees will inspect their capes to see if they’re whole or full of holes, and detect where and how their ‘kryptonite’ shows up with family, clients, work, and life.

Attendees will complete a therapist/first responder-specific vital signs check to identify the behaviors and beliefs that lead to career suicide, relational homicide, or losing touch with why they joined this profession.

Lastly, participants will take flight to ‘rehab’ for cape restoration and leave with an individualized plan for optimal functioning in work and life.
